J. Al McKinnon

Mr. McKinnon is President and CEO of South Coast Bank & Trust. His 35 years of banking include managing operations; commercial and business lending and de novo startups in the Glynn County market. He currently is serving on the board at The College of Coastal Georgia Foundation, as Chairman of the Glynn County Airport Commission and as a board member of the Urban Redevelopment Agency. He is a past president of the of the Brunswick Rotary Club and has been involved with YWCA Foundation, Chamber of Commerce, and Golden Isles Christian Businessmen's Association. He is an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Mr. McKinnon also served with the U. S. Marine Corp Presidential Honor Guard in Washington, D. C. He received his master’s degree in business from Georgia Southern University. 


 

Jack C. Kilgore

Jack C. Kilgore

Mr. Kilgore is former president of RICH Products Consumer Brands Division, headquartered on St. Simons Island. With 32 years of experience in the frozen food business, he has served on the board of the Frozen and Refrigerated Foods Association and as chairman of the National Fisheries Institute, where he continues to serve on the Executive Committee.  A graduate of Glynn Academy and Georgia Tech, Mr. Kilgore has been active in leadership roles with community organizations ranging from United Way, the American Cancer Society, Brunswick-Glynn County Chamber of Commerce, and Georgia State Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Kilgore serves on the Board of Directors of Primo Water, Inc., on the board and as past chairman for Communities in Schools of Glynn County, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the College of Coastal Georgia Foundation. He is a member of St. Simons Community Church.

 


 

William F. Brunson, Jr.

William F. Brunson, Jr.

Mr. Brunson is President of H & H Lifestyles in Brunswick, Georgia.  He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.A in Political Science and a 2006 graduate of the Bank Directors College sponsored by The Community Bankers Association. Mr. Brunson has a vast experience in banking, serving previously as a director with First Federal Savings & Loan in Brunswick, Georgia from 1978 to 1980. He was also a Founding Director of First Georgia Savings Bank and a participating member of the loan, audit and executive committees. He served in the United States Air Force as Captain and Pilot and received the Distinguished Flying Cross Air Medal. He is active in the community, serving with the Glynn County Planning & Zoning Commission, the Glynn County Airport Commission, and American Cancer Society. Mr. Brunson is a Trustee at the Baptist Village and a Deacon in the First Baptist Church.


 

Thomas E. Bryan, Jr.

Thomas E. Bryan, Jr.

Mr. Bryan is President and CEO of St. Simons Drug Company. He graduated from Glynn Academy and the University of Georgia with a BS in Pharmacy. Mr. Bryan is on the board of governors of The Brunswick Country Club, member of the Glynn Pharmaceutical Association, the Georgia Pharmaceutical Association, and the National Community Pharmaceutical Association as well as the Independent Pharmaceutical Association. Mr. Bryan is an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman. He is a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.


 

Ansel P. Clark

Ansel P. Clark

Ansel Clark was born and raised in Valdosta, where he graduated from Valdosta High School and Valdosta State University. He began his banking career in 1973 at First National Bank in Valdosta and became President and Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Bank, an affiliate bank, in Waycross in 1982. After First Union acquired the bank, Clark served as the City President in Macon in 1989 before accepting the position of Waycross Bank & Trust President in 1990. He now serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of WB&T Bankshares, Inc. Clark serves on the Finance Committee at First United Methodist Church and the Georgia Sheriffs Boys Ranch Board of Directors.


 

Richard K. Strickland

Richard K. Strickland

Mr. Strickland is a partner with the law firm of Brown, Readdick, Bumgartner, Carter, Strickland & Watkins, LLP, with special emphasis on law enforcement, employment law, and business litigation. Mr. Strickland is also a partner in commercial real estate investment firm CSW Properties, LLP.  A graduate of Brewton-Parker College, Valdosta State College, and the Emory University School of Law, he also has a background in television news and operations. Mr. Strickland enjoys coaching youth sports teams, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He has previously served as President of the Local Bar Association and as a Member of the Disciplinary Review Panel of the State Bar of Georgia. Mr. Strickland is a member of The Chapel, a United Methodist Congregation.


 

Dr. Mitchell T. Jones

Dr. Mitchell T. Jones

Dr. Jones is a partner in the cardiology and internal medicine practice of Strickland, Certain and Jones of Brunswick. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Emory University School of Medicine where he completed his cardiovascular training in 1997. He serves on the board of Hospice of the Golden Isles and Frederica Academy. He is a former Chairman of Hospice of the Golden Isles Foundation and a former board member of Faith in Action. Dr. Jones also serves as a member of the Glynn-Brunswick Hospital Authority. He is married to Sherri Jones and together they have six children.

Mr. Varn is Executive Vice President of Varn, Inc. which operates a modern dimension lumber sawmill in Hoboken. Will comes from a pioneer family with a long history and tradition in the banking business industry. Will is a director of the Georgia Forestry Association and was an inaugural member of the Coastal Advisory Board of the Nature Conservancy of Georgia. He attends the Christ Church, Frederica Episcopal on St. Simons Island.  He is also a member of the Friends of Coastal Georgia History, and is an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer.


 

Robbie Turner

Mr. Turner is President of Turner & Associates, an independent agency active in the Georgia Independent Agents Association. His insurance career began in 1985, and after working for 18 years for Palmer & Cay, Turner acquired the Brunswick office and founded Turner & Associates. Mr. Turner is a graduate of Glynn Academy and The University of Georgia. He is an active member of The Chapel, along with being a former board member of The Gathering Place as well as former chairman and founding member of Golden Isles Emmaus. Mr. Turner serves as a member of the Glynn-Brunswick Memorial Hospital Authority, active member and past president of Brunswick Rotary Club, and was a charter member of the Brunswick Audit Committee. He and his wife Betsy have three children.

Brad Butler

Mr. Butler is President and CEO of McInnis Electric Company and has been employed by McInnis Electric Company since 1974, giving him 41 years of experience. He is a graduate of Glynn Academy and Columbus State University (formally Columbus College), with a B.S. in Business Administration.  At present, Mr. Butler is the President and Governor of the Georgia Chapter of National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), which represents Middle and South Georgia Electrical Contractors that are affiliated with the NECA. He has also served as a member of the National Management Development Committee and is a member of the Academy of Electrical Contracting, both NECA organizations. He and his wife Margaret McInnis Butler are members of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and they have two children.

 


 

Lewayne Dalton

Mr. Dalton is President of Dalton & Bennett PC, a financial firm specializing in accounting services and tax preparation, and is a founding member of WB&T Bankshares, Inc. He was born and raised in Moultrie, Georgia and is a graduate of Valdosta State University, where he earned a degree in Accounting. Mr. Dalton is former president of the Lions Club and the Waycross YMCA and also past chairman of the Ware County Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he is an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
